TripChain is a "state-of-the-art" immutable digital driver's logbook for company car drivers that logs all your trips automatically and is tax-proof at the same time.
With the OBD2 hardware-installation the car's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and raw odometer value are directly inserted into the TripChain app and stored in IOTA Tangles. Therefore, the data is fully secure and fraud is impossible.

We use authentication, encryption, and message integrity verification for the Geotab GO vehicle tracking devices and network interfaces. Each Geotab GO tracking device uses a unique ID and non-static security key, making it difficult to fabricate a device’s identity. Over-the-air updates use digitally-signed firmware to verify that updates come from a trusted source.
